Top 3 Bridal Accessory Trends of 2024

Bridal accessories are a must for every bride's final look! It's amazing how even just one added detail can complete your whole vision making you look and feel even more like the bride you always envisioned yourself to be! A perfect time to shop for your accessories is during our Bling & Bubbly Events! We host these twice a year and if you didn't purchase your accessories when saying yes to your dress, it's the perfect time to select those finishing touches. This event gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with one of our expert stylists to add those final details to your bridal look.  Jewelry, veils, capes, over-skirts, hair accessories and little white dresses . . .  whatever you may need to complete your look we've got it! To get you excited for Bling & Bubbly, here are just a few trends we just can't get enough of this year when it comes to bridal accessories!

1 - Gloves

We saw bridal gloves make their debut over the past few years with the rise of Bridgerton & this trend is continuing into this season as well in even more creative ways! Different fabrics and lengths can add a whole new dimension to your bridal look. If you want to embody a completely classic vibe for your day, opera-length bridal gloves are the perfect way to do this! These gloves extend past the elbow and are typically made of a lustrous satin or lace. They’re ideal for formal black-tie weddings and can be paired with a classic ball gown or a sleek and chic gown to add a touch of vintage elegance! A newer more modern take on this trend is fingerless gloves - these gloves are perfect for brides who want to add a unique touch to their outfit and can be worn with a variety of dress styles. Our personal favorite style of these modern gloves are these pearl detail ones from Jenny Yoo!

2 - Capes

Not all heroes wear capes, but plenty of stylish brides do! Not only do wedding capes offer the same benefits as a traditional veil or train — such as visual interest, extra coverage or a dramatic sweeping effect — they're also an effortless way to kick your bridal style up a notch and include something a little more fun, different and trending! Some gowns are now even being made with detachable capes that can be worn for your ceremony and then taken off to party during your reception for a fully versatile gown! If the gown you said yes to doesn’t have a cape, not to worry - we have a few separate capes that can work with any look! From the ethereal and whimsical to the modern and chic, here are our favorite bridal capes from our modern queen Jenny Yoo

3 - Statement Veils

From different textures to colorful embroidery, veils can take many forms! Veils can be just as personal as the dress you say yes to - they truly add so much to your bridal look so why not have some fun with them! The thought of choosing a veil can often become a fashion dilemma for modern brides. But, you're in luck because there are plenty of fantastic contemporary veils and designers out there making unique, fashion-forward veils for the modern bride who wants to stray a little bit away from tradition! Local accessory designer Jaxie has created a few statement veils like her Ruffle Cathedral Veil and her Floating Florals Veil that we just can’t stop thinking about! Choosing to wear a statement veil takes some of pressure off the dress and adds an unexpected twist to your bridal look. Going big and bold with your veil might just be the key to a memorable bridal look for yourself!
