Rise: a Bridal Fashion Show

RISE: A Bridal Fashion Show, was a night we will never forget! And, if you attended the event, you know exactly what we mean! After not being able to safely host since 2020, as soon as it came time to plan for this year's Fashion Show, we knew what we had to do! Not only did we change our name from Illuminate, to RISE, we also made it clear that while the night was a time to fall in love with our beautiful gowns & live through our flawless models (who are all local, REAL people), it was a night to recognize, lift up, and celebrate the many diverse members of the Milwaukee community!

When we built our boutique, embedded within its foundations were the beliefs & practices of love, acceptance, and kindness. When we created RISE, we created it to be a celebration of inclusivity, diversity, and empowerment! All proceeds from RISE were donated to the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center. Their mission is to further develop Milwaukee's vibrant lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, thus improving the quality of life for everyone. Their mission is supported by the Center’s leadership in community building, health promotion, advocacy, and communications. Make sure you show them some love!!!

It was amazing to see almost every seat at the event filled, until of course, Ciara & Missy Eliot’s, One Two Step, had everyone in the crowd dancing along as our models strutted down the runway to close the show!
