Real Wedding: Natalie + John

Miss Ruby Bride and Milwaukee native Natalie married Texan John this July in a beautiful ceremony at St. Mary’s Visitation Catholic Church. It was followed by a lively reception at the Saint Kate in downtown Milwaukee where a live band played; the dance floor was packed; and John made a speech to Natalie that left no dry eye in the house. Natalie and John met interning together at a manufacturing plant in Freeport, Texas. They fell for each other instantly, and John popped the big question on Natalie’s 25th birthday.

Natalie is the epitome of a classic bride! For her big day, she opted for a custom Robert Bullock gown. She knew EXACTLY what she wanted when it came to her wedding dress. When you have a specific vision in mind, what better way to get it than creating it yourself… with the help of Robert Bullock, of course! Robert is our king of custom! He works very closely with his brides to ensure their bridal dreams come to fruition! All of Robert’s gowns are customizable. Like the top of one gown and the bottom of another? Love a design but envisioning it in a different fabric? In love with a silhouette but want to change the neckline? You got it! Natalie did a combination of all of this for her gorgeous custom piece! She pieced the bottom of one gown to the top of another, added a belt, and a custom off the shoulder neckline. Her timeless creation came together in Robert’s most luxurious satin fabric. Best of all… Natalie had Robert add pockets in her gown! We love a practical queen! Custom gowns can make brides’ dreams become reality, and Natalie’s incredible wedding dress is living proof!
