Real Bride: Stephanie + Dayton's Mountainside Elopement

Stephanie and Dayton's day was a winter mountainside dream! Stephanie put her own twist on her gown by adding a cozy sweater over top of her dress to completely her vision. She knew from the get go, she wanted a gown she could take home with her that was fit for a wintery mountainside scenery!
Stephanie shared a few words with us about her Miss Ruby experience and gushed all about her elopement to Dayton! She says " Since my now husband and I knew we would be eloping in the mountains, I originally did not see the *need* for the whole wedding dress shopping experience. After ordering some options online and looking at one other shop, I just felt like I wouldn't find something that fit the mountains. I knew of Miss Ruby as that is where my best friend found her wedding dress. I suggested to my mom that maybe we make an appointment here. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting my Stylist, I knew we had come to the
right place! My Stylist was able to guide us through the experience with keeping our budget, vision and short
timeline in mind. Ultimately, I was able to say "yes" and have my mom part of the process which was more
than I could've ever asked for as she would not be present for the elopement.
Fast forward several months - Dayton and I rented a cabin in the mountains of Colorado and spent our
elopement morning getting ready together. I was able to keep the dress a secret throughout all the travel
until he helped me into my dress! The dress & sweater combo is everything I pictured and MORE - it flowed beautifully in the wind atop of the mountains and the lace perfectly accented the cut of sweater. I didn't
know exactly what I pictured when I described "cozy & romantic" to my Miss Ruby Stylist, but this was
it! And our professional third wheel photographer (fun fact - you can self solemnize in Colorado so Diana
Coulter was the only other person with us on our elopement day) was able to capture everything with her fantastic eye for detail!"
