Bridesmaid shopping should be fun, relaxed and exciting for both you and your girls! We've come up with some of our best tips on how you and your girls can be extra prepared for your upcoming bridesmaid appointment!
1. Find a day that works for all or most of your girls!
It is extremely helpful to have as many of your bridesmaids at your appointment as possible! Not only does it help you visualize your entire bridal party together, but it also ensures the dresses you choose look stunning on each of your girls. We completely understand if you have out of town bridesmaids or if not everyone is able to make it to your appointment so, we have super easy and convenient online ordering options!
2. Discuss how much your girls are comfortable spending
Before your appointment, have the budget conversation with each of your girls. We know this may feel a little uncomfortable however, we don't want anyone to have "sticker shock." When you are all on the same page about budget, it helps your stylist best recommend styles that everyone is comfortable with!
3. Wear the proper undergarments
Wearing the proper undergarments is one of the easiest things to forget when preparing for your bridesmaid appointment! We want your girls to look and feel their best and wearing no-show, nude undergarments, a strapless bra or spanx helps everyone visualize their gowns best!
4. Make sure your girls understand the end goal
The goal of every bridesmaid appointment is to create your dream palette and find styles that make all of your girls feel confident and beautiful! Get your girls excited and make sure they are just as ready as you are to check this off the list! When you've found the perfect gowns, the next step is placing your order. Your stylist will provide professional measurements, size recommendations and answer any questions you or your girls may have! Full payment is due at the time of ordering so bringing a form of payment is extra important to remember :)
5. Make a brunch/lunch reservation for the day of your appointment!
Trying on dresses can be tiring so we always recommend making a brunch reservation before your appointment or hitting up the best lunch spot following your appointment! Downtown Milwaukee is busy on the weekends so instead of finding the shortest wait time, book your reservation ahead to keep things organized and relaxed!
