As we celebrate our 19th anniversary, we take a moment to reflect on our journey & core values that have defined us since we opened in 2007. In the heart of Milwaukee's Third Ward, the mother-daughter duo built Miss Ruby Bridal with the foundations of inclusivity, authenticity, and love that still hold true today.
The story of Miss Ruby Bridal began in the early 2000s, led by our fearless founder, Erin, alongside her mother, Pauline, to create something fresh and exciting for Milwaukee brides. Then in 2007, with just $1,000 each and a whole lot of determination, they didn't just open Miss Ruby Bridal; they built it themselves. Erin rolled up her sleeves, carrying in 2x4s for fitting rooms and painting the walls. Together, they transformed a simple space into the warm, welcoming boutique you see today.
Being family-owned and operated is at the heart of who we are. Erin and Pauline built a place not just for shopping for a wedding dress, but as a community where brides and our team members feel empowered and supported.
Our team of about 13 women genuinely cares and is passionate about every bride’s unique story. We take pride in knowing our brides personally, their story and vision, remembering the details of your first appointment, and celebrating every milestone! In a world that often makes wedding planning & shopping feel transactional, being personal REALLY matters.
