Miss Ruby is 15!

Wow! What a journey these past 15 years have been! It's nearly impossible to put into words how grateful we are for each and every individual who has supported Miss Ruby over the years but, here it goes...

15 years ago, Erin and Pauline turned their dream into reality and opened the doors of the space we all know and love. From what started out as a boutique selling only special occasion gowns, we quickly grew to one of the areas largest bridal and bridesmaid stores!

Countless laughs, tears and so much joy have been shared within our cozy space. Over 3,000 beautiful brides have experienced their once in a lifetime moment surrounded by their closest friends and family. We've seen our very own team members graduate college, say "I do" and grow into the beautiful people they are today. Even through a global pandemic, the love and support we have received from our incredible community has been unmatched.

Thank YOU, to our customers, to our team, to our owners. Thank you for sharing life's most special moments with us, for supporting us and for helping us grow into the safe, empowering, welcoming space we are today.

We've asked our #MissRubyFamily to share their experiences and offer some advice to all the future Miss Ruby Brides to come. Read below to take a stroll down memory lane with us!

Miss Ruby Bride: Teresa and Michael

Wedding:

October 8, 2011

Teresa's Experience:

It was the feeling like I was shopping with my best friend. There was no pressure just fun and excitement by all. I went to Miss Ruby to find my perfect dress for my upcoming renewal this October. My stylist did an amazing job listening to what I was looking for and staying close to my budget seeing as it wasn’t a “wedding” dress. I ended up with an amazing combination of a Haley Paige bridesmaid dress and a beautiful bridal overskirt. I was also gifted by my aunt an absolutely beautiful belt from your boutique as well. It pulls it altogether.

Advice to Future Brides:

Do it! Go, you won’t be disappointed with your experience.

Miss Ruby Bride: Shawni Smith & Bryan Dee

Wedding:

August 5, 2022

Shawni's Experience:

Would recommend Miss Ruby to anyone and everyone! Miss Ruby made the bridal dress shopping experience stress-free, fun, and special! It was so relaxed and personalized throughout the entire experience - never felt like they were trying to make a sale and wanted me to feel confident and comfortable! They listened to my feedback throughout trying on dresses and accessories to help reach my goal and feel super customized! Loved the experience so much!

Advice to Future Brides:

There is this idea you have to try on so many dresses and playing the what if game if you don’t, but it’s not true! When you feel comfortable and beautiful, you know it’s the one!

Miss Ruby Bride: Yer

Wedding:

March 5, 2022

Yer's Experience:

I wish I remembered my stylist's name :( I came from another bridal store and found exactly what I wanted there, but it wasn't fully speaking to me. I came to Miss Ruby, showed my stylist the two dresses I liked and she was able to combine the two together and boom, I found the one. She understood my budget and my style as we kept going through the dresses and even if my dress was a little over budget, I don't regret it one bit.

Advice to Future Brides:

TRY EVERY STYLE OF DRESS NO MATTER WHAT YOU WANT. Bring your two closest friends and/or family members who know you best. Too many people means too many opinions. It's ok to say "yes to the dress" your first appointment. Have an open mind, sometimes you find things you didn't know you'd like. I didn't know glitter could exist on wedding dresses until my stylist picked out dresses that had glitter. Since then, that's all I wanted on my dress.

Miss Ruby Bride: Tessa

Wedding:

July 22, 2023 (we can't spoil the dress so you'll have to wait until July to see Tessa in her stunning gown ;))

Tessa's Experience:

My experience at Miss Ruby was everything I could’ve imagined for my first time ever trying on dresses. The space is ridiculously adorable and they have such an amazing selection to choose from. My stylist Sam was a breath of fresh air and made me feel at home throughout my appointment. We had super similar styles so she instantly knew what I would like and not like. After trying a few dresses on she asked if she could pull a few and she brought over MY dream dress, which turns out, is hers too. I said yes to the dress and was celebrated like I was the only one there. You ladies do an incredible job and I cannot thank you enough for such a lovely experience!

Advice to Future Brides:

Try things on you don’t think you’ll like! Also keep in mind you can add/take things away from the dress to make it custom to your liking!

Geraldine's Experience:

Sam was awesome at helping me choose my dress!

Advice to Future Brides:

Enjoy every moment of it! It goes way too fast!

Miss Ruby Bride: Jenna

Wedding:

September 9, 2022

Jenna's Experience:

There was zero pressure, only fun. I had a horrible experience at another boutique and was super nervous about my appointment, thinking it could be the same and I would never find my dress. I felt welcomed immediately. My stylist, Carter, made me feel at ease from the moment we met. She offered guidance yet allowed me to maintain my independence. She posed thoughtful questions and never once pressured me to buy a dress. When I finally picked my dress, the whole Miss Ruby team were my ultimate hype girls. It was truly one of the most memorable experiences throughout my wedding planning journey. I recommend Miss Ruby Boutique to every bride I come across that is yet to find their dream dress.

Advice to Future Brides:

Definitely have ideas of things you don’t like. It will help make your decisions a bit easier. Also don’t be afraid to try something different, you may be surprised. Lastly, if you don’t find your dress, don’t let it ruin your experience— it is out there!
